Build
- QA considerations
- With several features (posts, resources, profiles) bundled into one platform, the access-permission boundaries don't leak between beginners, practitioners, and leads
- User data stays consistent and intact across the bundled features rather than drifting apart
- Being a community, spam and inappropriate content arrive - is there a report/block flow a single operator can actually keep up with?
- The regression most worth avoiding is "trust collapse" - taking users in without sustainable operations breaks community trust when they leave, so stopping rather than building more was the decision that preserved trust
Outcome
- Result / Learning
Paused after a pivot to a public-good activity. Confirmed that for community tools, the sustainability of the operating team is the core of the product.
